How the Industrial Model Township and KMP Expressway are Reshaping Sohna’s Commercial Real Estate
The Industrial Model Town (IMT) will be built across an area of 1500 acres in a region between Sohna and Kundali Manesar Palwal (KMP) expressway. The land acquisition is already done for the same. IMT Sohna will give push to numerous industries such as IT, electronics, electronic design systems, IT hardware, medical equipment, automotive parts. Likewise, it will give impetus to other prominent industries such as FMCG, e-commerce, retail, warehousing, etc.
Once IMT
will be operational, it will help the Sohna and the wider Mewat region to step
up and emerge as a key manufacturing and logistic corridor in the northern
India. With the help of IMT, Sohna will also play a critical role in the wider
DMIC (Delhi Mumbai Industrial) becoming a key node in the overall supply chain.
Futuristic projects such as DMIC will embark Sohna on a path of multifaceted
growth.
Business
houses comprising both big players as well as emerging enterprises will invest
in the Sohna and the nearby region to leverage improved infrastructure,
seamless connectivity and affordable property prices. As larger manufacturing
bases will shift towards Sohna, it will catalyse growth in the overall value
chain including vendors, suppliers, distributorships, etc. thereby further
transforming the overall region.
We have
seen how opening of Maruti factory helped Gurugram morph into an industrialized
and commercialized cluster from once a rural outpost of Delhi. We might witness
Sohna becoming the new growth engine of the NCR’s economy. As economic
activities will rise, numerous other allied sectors will get a positive impetus
including real estate, hospitality, retail, etc.
