How Gurgaon Sohna Freeway connectivity has specifically shifted buyer/investor sentiment.
In the past Sohna’s connectivity with main Gurugram was a bottleneck, which undermined its real estate market to certain extent. Many buyers were a little apprehensive to buy homes in Sohna, attributing to relatively long commutes time with main Gurugram. However, this has now changed after the opening of the 6 lane Sohna Gurugram Freeway. The access-controlled freeway. which has been built under NHAI for an investment of around ~Inr 1500 crores, has significantly reduced the commute time between Sohna and main Gurugram. People employed in places such as MG road, Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension Road are now buying properties in Sohna, following the spurred connectivity.
After the
opening of the freeway, Sohna is witnessing a great jump in property demand.
Many big developers such as Signature Global, Central Park, Paras, Ganga Realty
are moving to the Sohna region with new projects. There is a lot of new
developments coming up comprising high rise, gated communities, villa
development, etc. There is also tremendous potential in premium properties and
township development. As residential market is picking up, the positive effect
is cascading to the commercial sector as well, unlocking new opportunities in
business park, commercial building, co-working, modern retail segment, etc.
Many big developers are now shifting their focus towards the Sohna region
pertaining to the change in its image as a bustling realty market.
